We Came to the Mountain Resource Cneter because the finances were hardly covering the bare necessities. It was like throwing a dart to figure out which bills to pay. When the Holiday Season came, there was not enough money for a Christmas tree, presents, and speical celebration kind of food. When I came here to your Christmas party, we were in a sad mood. Someone took my husband outside and showed him Christmas trees we could choose from. It was special. Then I was told I could look through a box and look for lights and decorations for the tree. Decorating the tree was like another present for the kids. Looking at the lights, their eyes were as large as saucers! It is hard to explain. It is something you have to feel.

There was pumpkin pie which was n the food box with the turkey and all the people smiling. It was warm in the house with the tree and presents it was like Christmas really came. You coauld see the happieness in the kids' eyes which made Christmas for us. Thank you for making Christmas, Mountain Resouce Center! And to Kathy and Denis, thank you!
